We need insightful leader selection decision making to appoint individuals that will exercise prudent stewardship on behalf of stakeholders.
I have highlighted the behavioural covariation themes of intrinsic human factors namely; dishonesty, naivety and tedium. The absence of these red flags would suggest honour instead of dishonesty, wisdom instead of naivety and charisma instead of tedium.

I surmise that the combined force of intelligence and maturity elements predispose gullibility. A particular amalgamation of thinking acuity, awareness of self and others, realism and optimism will incline one to be naive. The prominence and intensity of such bunching reinforce the tendency. Where there is distinct clustering of germane traits, prediction accuracy is assured. Take heed when hardy trait streams cut across presented varying contexts and situations.
Questioning and critiquing the concepts
Have you ever worked for a dreary leader, one that makes you want to say get on with it will you?! Have you yearned to be spared the doldrums and wished to be inspired or to be roused? Could it be that you are working for a leader afflicted with tedium? Is leadership not a core source of motivation?

The red flags are concepts and not tangible entities. Experimental research is necessary to prove cause and effect. Appoint individuals manifesting factors streams pointing towards dishonesty into the treasury, for example, and see the extent of self-enrichment they engage. If they loot, the dishonest construct has predictive validity. If they don't, perhaps the evidence stream is pointing to something other than delinquency.
People have a finite latitude to discern and act, I presume. We don't necessarily transcend inert tendencies, drives or needs, at least not all the time. Factors within the individual determine motivation and behaviour to a great extent. These can be revealed through available psychometric assessments. Incorporate such science-based insights into leader selection decisions. Conscious recognition and or external environmental stimuli do contribute to behaviour. Behaviour consistency, however, has inert origins. I have purposefully assumed and taken stances here that may be disputed and contested. Let the games begin.
